Welcome to our community! This last year has been rough for a lot of people. (myself included!) Thankfully a New Year gives us a chance at a Fresh Start! I’m so grateful to have been a part of a community that has helped my friends and family through this past year. And I’m looking forward to what we will accomplish in the New Year.
With a fresh start, I’m going to do things a little different this year. I’m raising the bar on my intentions and goals this year. I’m going to focus more on getting out of my Comfort Zone and being more consistent with everything I do. I think it’s so important for us all to set new Goals or Intentions for a new year. It keeps us from getting stuck and never moving forward. Besides I find it a lot more doable to set Goals and Intentions, rather than Resolutions.
Consistency
Consistency is so important with anything we want to do or accomplish in our lives. This is something I’ve struggled with off and on throughout my life. That’s why this year, I’m focusing on being more consistent in everything I do. Personal and Business. Consistency helps us to stay on track and achieve our goals. Comfort Zones
A few years ago I learned the importance of “Getting out of your Comfort Zone.” I was struggling with a Panic Disorder and going through Exposure Therapy. It helped a little and I was slowly getting better. However, I still wasn’t where I wanted to be with my mental health and life in general. Then in a team meeting one of our top leaders shared a quote by Jim Rohn that changed my thinking and outlook on life. And in turn, it changed my life.
The Quote is “Do the Uncomfortable until it becomes Comfortable.” If you really think about, we all end up doing things that are uncomfortable through out our lives. For instance; with a new Job- when you’re learning how to do your new Job it’s a little uncomfortable at first. But as you learn more and are consistent with it, it starts to become comfortable. We Grow, Change, Learn and just become better when we step out of our Comfort Zone. We can achieve our Goals and Dreams better and possible faster if we are brave enough to step out of our Comfort Zone.
