We are a fully integrated Private Online School. Housing Grades K-12, your children will have access and ability to learn any subject. All from our amazing teachers from literally around the globe.
For both Parents and Students alike; starting a new school can be daunting. We made it a little easier and have constructed your guide to learning with Brainfood Academy. These Guidelines are meant for all students eligible to use any international curriculum for the US. Once you know where to look, getting started with us here at Brainfood Academy is simple.

Criteria needed for learning at Brainfood Academy:
I know that this can look and feel overwhelming. But now that we have your guide to learning at Brainfood Academy, we hope this information will make selecting Brainfood an easy process.
Here is a link that allows you to view the U.S. Department of Education Site. Here you will select your State. Then you can see what criteria is needed for your child to attend school, whether it’s public or private school.

Please remember; here at Brainfood Academy we are a private school. So our guidelines are not as strict. Also, if you decide to Leave Brainfood Academy at anytime, you will leave with all the requirements needed to attend any public school in the U.S.
Vaccines and Immunization Requirements for Schools: Your Guide to Learning with Brainfood Academy-
It is a requirement to have up-to-date immunization and vaccination records in all public school facilities. And as a result, most private schools also have the same requirements. However, since we are an online facility, it is not required. But we are a private school with the option for our students to come and go at their will. So as a result, when a student leaves Brainfood they will be required to show updated records with their next school.
Although there are some states that have some exemptions to this legislation. You can see if you can be exempt from this process due to special circumstances, other conditions or due to religion through this link…..It is all listed at this site HERE.
Is Kindergarten Required in Your State; Your Guide to Learning with Brainfood Academy
Kindergarten is not a requirement according to government regulations. However, the government gives each state the option to make their own regulations concerning this matter. But it is a mandate that every state offer a kindergarten class in each school district. This is due to education reform, financial situations and working parents.
All Public Schools must offer Kindergarten, even though children are not required to attend. Compulsory attendance applies to children at the ages of 7-16 and also children ages 5 or 6 as long as they are enrolled in public school.

Due to Regulation; individual states can set their school structure and some states opted to make Kindergarten mandatory for graduation and academic completion. Below you can see what states require Kindergarten. All other states, if you decide to not send your child to Kindergarten require testing of academic status before enrolling in 1st grade.

First set up your Free Parent Account Here. All of our programs with Brainfood Academy need an account to access the information. Then once your Parent Account is ready, you can set up your student account and enroll them for classes. Once enrolled, that’s when you tuition will begin.
